President’s Message
Early in February, the Pioneer Award Committee met and selected two honorees for the year 2010. Both were excellent candidates. Jahri Evans plays guard for the New Orleans Saints, He is all-pro and the only Frankford High School graduate to play in a Super Bowl, Susan Feola is the alumni vice president and has served both the school and the alumni association well for many years, We are always on the lookout for well-qualified candidates for the Pioneer award. Remember, the criteria are achievement, leadership and service. Surely you know someone from your class who would match these qualifications. A link to a Pioneer Achievement Award form can be found on the home page. Take the time to nominate someone you believe to be qualified.
We continue with our arrangements for our 100th Anniversary celebration. There will be an open house on Saturday, May 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m. All graduates are invited. There will be a film depicting the history of Frankford High as well as tours throughout the building lead by the ROTC students. Come out and relive some of your pleasant high school memories.
Our celebration will conclude with a gala dinner/dance on Friday, November 26th. The ticket price is $60.00/person and tickets are available now. The affair will be held at the Savoy restaurant in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Mark your calendars now, we are confident a good time will be had by all.
With kindest personal regards,
Tom Mills, Ph.D
