Frequency Asked Questions

1. Is sign up FREE?
Answer: YES, YES, YES!!! Since this is the Official Web Site for the Frankford High School Alumni there is no cost to you. So be careful of some un-official alumni web sites you'll find on the web that try to make you pay a fee to signup. However, we do ask that you become a lifetime member and/or from time-to-time make a donation by clicking the 'Alumni Support' link on the menu; to learn what your financial support means, please read the Alumni Support Form.

2. I signed up or changed my email address and never received an authentication email...
what should I do?

Answer: You should receive an authentication email within 5 to 90 minutes of signup.  However, there could be a few reasons why you never received the authentication email. (1) Maybe you mistyped your email address during the signup. If you feel that is the case, simply login and correct or if you can not login, signup again making sure your email address is correct.  If a duplicate email exists the system will let you know; if a duplicate does exist, then go to the Alumnus Login page, enter your email address and click the ‘re-Send Authentication’ button; there is also a button to ‘Send Password’ if you ever forget.  If you still do not receive an authentication email… (2) make sure you don’t have junk filters or rules that are deleting the authentication email. If you do, turn-off or disable the filters and/or check your junk and deleted folders. If you still can not locate the authentication email, then enter your email on the Alumnus Login page and click the ‘re-Send Authentication’ button.  Note: If email is not authenticated within the 30 days the signup account is deleted and future attempts to authenticate with older authentication emails will fail. (3) Another reason may be that your ISP or your email account is blocking emails from the registrar’s email address. Unblock emails from FrankfordAlumni.com

3. I signed up and received an authentication email but when I try to authenticate it states, “Your email authentication is invalid”
what should I do?

Answer: An authentication can be invalid for various reasons but your only solution is to signup again making sure to delete the old authentication email first. Here are a few reasons your authentication could fail. (1) you did not authenticate within 30 days of the date you originally signed up. To keep the database clean of unregistered emails the system automatically deletes signups after 30 days if not authenticated. (2) your browser does not like it when you click the ‘Authenticate Now’ link…if that’s the case copy the full authentication url (as per the instructions in the authentication email) to your browsers address line.

4. I know I authenticated my email and even received the, “Your email has been authenticated.” message but I am not receiving notices.
What is wrong?

Answer:
You may not be receiving email notices for various reasons. (1) you did not check the ‘Okay to keep me informed by sending Alumni emails’ box.  If this is the case simply login, check the box and click update. (2) make sure you don’t have junk filters or rules that are deleting the notice email. If you do, turn-off or disable the filters. (3) Another reason may be that your ISP or your email account is blocking emails from the registrar’s email address. Unblock emails from FrankfordAlumni.com

5. I forgot my password what do I do?
Answer:
Go to the Alumnus Login, enter your email address and click the 'Send Password' button. An email will be sent that will contain your password.

6. My information has changed or I wish to signup for an event...what do I do?
Answer: Login, then click the 'Edit Profile' link on the menu. Edit/update your informaion and click the 'Update' button on bottom of page. Note: if you changed your email address you will need to re-authenticate...following the instructions in the authentication email that should appear in your inbox in 5-90 minutes.
